E2IP Technologies

Montreal

E2IP Technologies is looking for a Director, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, Applications, Data and Artificial Intelligence to play a key role in the organization's next phase of growth, modernization, and risk posture.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, engaging and pragmatic leader who thrives running a small, agile team hands-on. Reporting to the Vice-President, IT, you will take ownership of the organization's cybersecurity posture and governance first and foremost, alongside the evolution of our enterprise application ecosystem, our data strategy, our artificial intelligence capabilities, our core IT infrastructure and collaboration tooling, our help desk function, and our technology project portfolio across our sites in Canada, Morocco and New Jersey.

In particular, you will lead our cybersecurity and compliance program (including ITAR, CMMC, and NIST 800-171), the evolution of the EPICOR/Kinetic ERP, the development of our BI and analytics capabilities, and the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence — spanning both cloud and on-premises environments.

This role is for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of security, business strategy, manufacturing operations and technology — and who wants to see the concrete impact of their decisions on the ground, leading a lean team rather than a large one.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

Lead cybersecurity and risk management

- Own the organization's cybersecurity strategy, governance, and posture across Canada, Morocco and New Jersey — this is the top priority of the role.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, CMMC requirements and the NIST 800-171 standard in connection with defense-related activities.
- Establish and maintain identity and access management practices, including Azure AD and Beyond Identity, with security as the primary lens.
- Protect sensitive data and intellectual property, particularly in R&D;, through strong data management, access control, and AI solution governance practices.
- Lead incident response readiness, vulnerability management, and security awareness across the organization.
- Evaluate and harden the security posture of collaboration and infrastructure tooling (Egnyte, Box, SharePoint, OneDrive, Ubiquiti, 3CX) in partnership with the help desk function.

Lead the transformation of enterprise applications

- Define and deliver the vision, strategy and roadmap for E2IP Technologies' application ecosystem, including the EPICOR/Kinetic ERP, EPM/BOARD, BI tools, CRM, integrations and related platforms — with security and compliance built in by design.
- Lead the evolution of the EPICOR/Kinetic ERP for the Canada, Morocco and New Jersey sites, ensuring sustainable adoption, effective governance and measurable business results.
- Simplify and modernize the application portfolio to eliminate redundancies and improve the flow of cross-functional processes.
- Identify opportunities to optimize business and operational processes through automation, systems integration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure rigorous management of partners, vendors and integrators in order to maximize quality, speed of execution, security, and return on technology investments.

Turn data and AI into business value, securely

- Establish a data and artificial intelligence strategy that supports business priorities, manufacturing operations and the organization's growth — with strong working knowledge of AI deployment in both cloud and on-premises environments,

and security as a first-order design constraint.
- Define and implement a data governance framework covering ownership, quality, classification, security, compliance and responsible use of data, including data lake infrastructure.
- Build BI, reporting and advanced analytics capabilities, including executive dashboards, operational metrics and self-service analytics tools.
- Identify, prioritize and deploy concrete use cases in artificial intelligence, predictive analytics and intelligent automation to improve planning, production, quality, supply chain, customer service and decision-making.
- Put measurement mechanisms in place to demonstrate the value generated by data, AI and automation initiatives, particularly in terms of productivity, cost, quality, lead times and adoption.

Own IT infrastructure, help desk, and collaboration tooling

- Directly manage the Help Desk Manager, providing oversight of day-to-day support operations, ticket escalation, SLAs, and end-user satisfaction — with a security-conscious support culture.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of the organization's collaboration and file-management stack — Egnyte, Box, SharePoint, OneDrive, and the full Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center.
- Maintain working knowledge of network and communications infrastructure, including Ubiquiti and 3CX, to guide the help desk team and vendor relationships.
- Linux experience preferred, given the mixed infrastructure environment.

Establish a high-value delivery discipline

- Create and grow a lean, pragmatic and results-oriented IT PMO to improve demand management, prioritization, execution, governance and accountability.
- Oversee the IT project portfolio and ensure initiatives are prioritized according to their business value, operational impact, security risk, and strategic alignment.
- Lead major technology projects, taking ownership of scope, budget, timelines, quality, risks, vendors and change management.
- Foster a transparent, disciplined and collaborative delivery culture focused on measurable results rather than simply putting solutions into production.

Build and lead a small, high-performing team

- Lead, coach and develop a small, agile team spanning cybersecurity, applications, data, artificial intelligence, project delivery, and help desk/end-user support.
- Manage and develop the Help Desk Manager directly, including goal-setting, coaching, and performance management.
- Define the team's resourcing needs and build the business cases required to recruit and structure a team capable of supporting the company's security, growth, and analytics ambitions.
- Develop the team's skills in cybersecurity practices, data governance, automation, advanced analytics, and responsible AI.
- Create an environment of close collaboration between IT teams, business units and the various sites, particularly between Montreal and Morocco.

YOUR PROFILE :

What you bring

- Demonstrated cybersecurity leadership experience — governance, risk management, incident response, and compliance frameworks — is the top priority for this role.
- More than 12 years of progressive IT experience,

including leadership responsibilities in enterprise applications, data, digital transformation and project delivery.
- Working knowledge of ITAR and CMMC compliance and the NIST 800-171 standard is required, not just an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience leading ERP implementations, with EPICOR/Kinetic experience strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of artificial intelligence, both cloud-based and on-premises, with demonstrated experience identifying, prioritizing and delivering AI, advanced analytics or process automation use cases — deployed with security in mind.
- At least 5 years of experience managing teams in a multi-site or international environment — ideally leading smaller, agile teams rather than large ones.
- Experience managing a help desk or end-user support function, directly or through a direct-report manager.
- PMP certification or an equivalent designation in project or program management.
- Extensive experience in a discrete or process manufacturing environment. Previous experience in an engineering company is considered a strong plus.
- Strong command of data governance, data lake infrastructure, Microsoft Fabric, BI platforms such as Power BI, and SQL.
- Working familiarity with collaboration/file-management platforms (Egnyte, Box, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Admin Center) and identity management (Azure AD, Beyond Identity).
- Working knowledge of network/communications infrastructure (Ubiquiti, 3CX); Linux experience preferred.
- French/English bilingualism, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated experience managing external vendors, systems integrators and implementation partners.

Considered assets

- CISSP, CISM, or other recognized cybersecurity certification
- EPICOR/Kinetic certification
- CDMP certification or equivalent
- Experience with enterprise artificial intelligence platforms, services or deployment frameworks
- ITIL v4, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma or other relevant professional certification
- Experience in the defense or aerospace manufacturing sectors
- Previous experience working within an engineering company or engineering-driven organization
- Knowledge of the BOARD EPM platform
- Knowledge of MES and/or PLM systems
