This permanent position is ideal for candidates with a Water/Wastewater Operator Level I Certification and relevant operational experience. As an operator, you will maintain and monitor the District’s water distribution and wastewater systems while ensuring compliance with legislation and industry standards. You will also provide valuable customer service and emergency response functions connected to municipal utility systems.

Key Responsibilities:



• Operate and maintain water distribution and wastewater systems • Conduct water-quality and wastewater sampling assessments • Monitor system performance and carry out inspections • Respond promptly to utility-related emergencies • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation

Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Water/Wastewater Operator Level I Certification • Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract • Two years of relevant operational experience • Basic First Aid certification required
