Edge Bander Operator – Furniture Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Edge Bander Operator to set up and operate edge-banding machinery in a furniture manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate edge-banding machines.

- Adjust machine settings for materials, glue, edge tape, and production requirements.

- Process MDF, particleboard, laminate, PVC, ABS, and veneer.

- Monitor glue, temperature, pressure, speed, trimming, and finishing.

- Perform quality checks and correct defects.

- Complete basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Follow work orders, drawings, safety procedures, and production standards.

Requirements





Previous edge-banding machine experience is required.

IMA Novimat Concept experience is an asset.

3–5 years of furniture, cabinetry, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Machine setup and basic troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read drawings and work orders.

Solid attention to detail and quality.

Reliable and safety-conscious.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Hours Monday–Thursday: 7:25 AM–4:25 PM

Friday: 7:25 AM–1:25 PM

Overtime: As required

Salary: $ 22.50 - $25.00
