Manufacturing Estimator / Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a Manufacturing Estimator / Pricing Specialist to support customer quoting and product costing for a world class multi site manufacturing company. This role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing and Sales to develop accurate and competitive customer quotations.

Responsibilities

- Review RFQs, drawings and customer specifications.

- Develop cost estimates based on materials, labour, tooling and manufacturing requirements.

- Prepare customer quotations and ensure RFQs are completed on time.

- Work with internal teams to understand production requirements and key cost drivers.

- Obtain and evaluate supplier pricing for materials, components and outside services.

- Maintain costing and quotation information and update pricing as manufacturing costs change.

- Support pricing reviews and identify opportunities to improve the estimating process.

Qualifications

- 2-4+ years of experience in estimating, costing, quoting,



pricing or sales support within manufacturing.

- Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field preferred.

- Ability to understand engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

- Familiarity with machining, fabrication, assembly, metal forming or similar manufacturing processes is an asset.

- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel; SAP or Salesforce experience is beneficial.

- Strong analytical, mathematical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
