Space Center is looking for a creative, ambitious and highly motivated Event & Experience Manager to join our growing team.
This is not a traditional event coordinator position. We are looking for someone who can create experiences from the ground up. Help us develop new event concepts, understand what customers will be excited to attend and pay for, help promote those experiences, train the team, supervise execution, collect feedback and improve the product based on real results.
The role combines event development, customer experience, creative marketing, social media collaboration, project management and team training.
We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

What You’ll Do
You will participate in developing and managing new experiences at Space Center from idea to final execution and performance review.
Responsibilities may include
- Creating concepts for new events, attractions, seasonal programs and customer experiences
- Developing corporate events, private events, family programs and special activations
- Turning creative ideas into structured, sellable event products
- Developing event themes, schedules, guest journeys and activity plans
- Writing event programs, scripts and staff instructions
- Creating interactive elements and memorable “wow moments”
- Helping determine target audiences and positioning for new events
- Working with social media and marketing teams to promote events
- Contributing ideas for Reels, TikTok, Instagram and other promotional content
- Identifying moments within events that can generate strong photos, videos and organic social sharing
- Coordinating preparation and execution of events
- Training employees on new programs, scripts and guest interactions
- Organizing staff rehearsals and making sure programs are delivered correctly
- Monitoring guest experience during events
- Collecting and analyzing customer feedback
- Conducting surveys and identifying areas for improvement
- Tracking attendance, bookings, customer engagement and event performance
- Preparing post-event reports
- Making recommendations for future events and improvements
- Working directly with management on new concepts and future Space Center projects

Experience with Canva, social media content creation, video concepts, event production, hospitality, entertainment or experiential marketing would be an asset but is not mandatory.
Experience
Previous management experience is not required.
We are prepared to teach many operational aspects of the position internally.

Practical Hiring Competition
Please note that this position includes a practical selection process.
Candidates who successfully complete the initial interview may be invited to complete several short assignments designed to evaluate real skills rather than only previous work experience.
Assignments may include, for example:
- Developing an original event or customer-experience concept
- Identifying the target audience and explaining why they would purchase it
- Creating a basic event structure or guest journey
- Suggesting marketing and social media ideas for the concept
- Developing a Reel/TikTok or promotional content concept
- Presenting the idea to management
- Responding to feedback and improving the original concept The assignments are intended to evaluate creativity, commercial thinking, communication, organization and problem-solving ability.
Candidates should be comfortable participating in this type of competitive selection process before applying.
