Syilx Forestry Working Group is seeking on-call seasonal Fisheries Field Technicians in Penticton to support the Sockeye broodstock collection and field monitoring program. Work will be September to October, up to 40 hrs/week with flexibility for weekend shifts and some Central Okanagan fieldwork. Applicants should be comfortable near streams and in varying fall weather. Prior fisheries field experience and safety training are assets; commitment and reliability are essential.
