West Neighbourhood House is seeking a Facilities and Properties Manager to lead operations in Toronto. This position involves comprehensive facilities management, emergency protocols, and health/safety compliance. As an onsite manager, you will supervise maintenance operations, support diverse staff, and oversee capital projects.

With robust project management skills, this role also requires a knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems to uphold standards. Your leadership will provide innovative solutions for facilities-related challenges. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure safety and functionality of facilities and properties
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans
- Oversee the performance of contractors and compliance
- Conduct training for staff on safety and emergency procedures
- Manage commercial tenant and partner relationships Requirements:
- Certificate in Facilities Management or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in facilities management
- 1+ year in a leadership role, preferably unionized
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
