AsaPrincipalDeliveryManager,youwillbeaccountableforleadingthedeliverycapabilityfortheSectorintheDigitalServicesbusinessunit,workingcloselywithdeliverymanagerstoensuresuccessfulandefficientdeliveryofmultipleengagementsacrossanaccountportfolio.

Youwillempowerandsupportteamstoperformwell,learnandgrowinamannerthatisconsistentwithcompanyvalues.Youwillstrengthenandensuresuccessfuldeliveryacrossengagementsthatwillbenefitusinwinningnewbusinesswithexistingcustomers.OwnsasectorviewofdemandforpeopleandworkswithBUOperationstomanageourdeliverycapability.YouwillhaveoversightandsupportCustomerSuccess,investinginclientrelationshipsfromadeliveryperspectiveasatrustedadvisortoaddressbusinessproblemsthroughdigitaldelivery.

- Deliveringcommerciallyviableservices–youwillberesponsibleforachievingorexceedingprofitabilitytargetsplusaccurateandtimelyforecastingandreportingofprojectvariables(revenue,staffing,workinprogress,debtetc.).Youwillunderstandthecontractsandcommercialtermsapplyingtoourprojectsandensurethatisnotcompromisedbynon-compliance.

- Developingbusiness-SupportfuturegrowthbyworkingcloselywithRegionalSalesDirectors,AccountExecutives,CustomerSuccessManagers,assistingwhererequiredwiththesales/procurementcycletobestpositiontowinprofitablenewbusiness.Youwillpromotesuccessescompany-wide,toourcustomersandtothemarket,throughcasestudies,awardsubmissions,blogs,tweetsetc
- Beingarolemodel-You’llsupportyourcolleaguesandreconciletheneedsoftheindividualwiththeneedsoftheteamorWorkdaywhilstembodyingthevalues.You’llbethepersonpeoplelookupto–peopletrustyourdecisionsbecausetheyaretransparentandjustified.

Minimum(essential)Requirements

- Minimumof10yearsofdemonstrablesuccessmanagingthedeliveryoftechnology-basedprojectsusingagilemethodology.
- Substantialexperienceinmanagingandleadingprojectteamsincludinglinemanagementresponsibility.
- Evidenceofdevelopingandmanagingsoundclient-supplierrelationshipsandgoodknowledgeofatleastoneindustryvertical(e.g.FinancialServices,HealthorGovernment).
- Broadtechnologyexperience,awarenessofcurrenttechnologytrendsandasolidunderstandingofcontemporarysoftwareengineeringpracticesandbehaviours.
- Evidenceoftakingresponsibilityforcontractandcommercialtermsonprojects.
- Experienceofadheringtorobustprojectgovernanceandtechnicalqualitystandards.
- Strongabilitytomakereasoneddecisionsunderpressuretakingabalancedviewofclientdemands,commercialinterestsandtheimpactontheteam.
- Provenabilitytomanage,motivateandempowerteamsandleadbyexample.
- Strongcommercialawarenessandsoundunderstandingofprojectdynamics,particularlyinamulti-supplierenvironment.
- Affable,credibleandcancommunicateeffectivelywithclientsandcolleagues,includingformalpresentations.
- Excellentinterpersonalskillsandstrongnegotiatingprowess.
