The Finance Coordinator will support the club’s financial operations by assisting with budgeting, fund allocation, reimbursements, and other financial tasks throughout the year.
Time Commitment
3-5 hrs/week
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with managing expenses and keeping spending within the set budget
- Help process reimbursements
- Assist with identifying and applying for grants and sponsorships
- Support financial planning and fund allocation for events and initiatives
Qualifications
- Previous finance experience is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable building and maintaining relationships
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
Anticipated Learning Outcomes
- Build resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
- Gain hands-on experience with real budgets, reimbursements and financial operations
- Learn how to support the financial planning of events and initiatives
