Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will drive growth by managing customer relationships, coordinating freight operations, and supporting sales initiatives within the supply chain and third-party logistics (3PL) sectors. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless communication between clients, carriers, and internal teams, fostering long-term partnerships and optimizing freight solutions.

Duties
- Support Sales Team: Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, assisting with client communication, quotations, and follow-ups.
- Quotation Preparation: Prepare and process accurate and timely freight quotes for customers, including pricing for air, ocean, and ground freight.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Update and manage customer information in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and enabling effective customer follow-up.
- Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, assisting with requests, issues, and ensuring prompt responses to maintain client satisfaction.
- Sales Pipeline Tracking: Track and monitor sales leads, pipeline progress, and close ratios, providing regular updates to the sales team.
- Market Research:
Conduct research on new market opportunities, competitors, and industry trends to support sales strategy development.
- Coordinate Shipment Requests: Work with operations to coordinate shipment details for clients, ensuring that the sales team’s commitments align with logistics capabilities.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with operations, customs, and customer service departments to ensure seamless coordination for client shipments.
- Customer Retention Initiatives: Assist in developing and implementing strategies for customer retention and upsell opportunities.
Requirements:
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry terminology and processes.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with freight management software.
- Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights to support the sales team’s performance and decision-making.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred).
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40.0 per week
