Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient processing
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food service tasks such as food handling, preparation support, and maintaining sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, serving stations, and front-of-house spaces
- Support food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating robust guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures within the food industry
- Strong communication skills for effective serving and upselling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
