Reporting to the lab Manager, you'll be engaged in reading bacterial cultures, conducting susceptibility tests, and ensuring the highest compliance standards within the lab. Your work is integral to both clinical solutions and research advancements, given the diversity of cases handled at IWK Health. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and report bacterial cultures with precision
- Carry out susceptibility tests for clinical decisions




- Manage and operate laboratory instruments effectively
- Implement quality management protocols within the lab
- Provide mentorship to laboratory staff and peers Requirements:
- Requires registration as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)
- Preferably 5 years of microbiology experience
- Expertise in interpreting clinical cultures needed
- CSMLS certification and NSRMLS licensure required
