This pivotal role involves collaborating with the Nuclear Medicine/PET Manager while performing PET-CT and nuclear medicine procedures.
You’ll be responsible for assisting physicians, ensuring patient comfort, and managing workflow in the department. Your expertise will play a vital role in training future technologists and supporting departmental functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized PET-CT and nuclear medicine procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Lead the planning for daily patient flow in the department
- Aid in administrative and clerical tasks for efficiency
- Support training initiatives for student technologists Requirements:
- Valid registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Familiarity with Ministry reporting and electronic systems
- 2 years of related experience in a community hospital setting
