General Labour / Warehouse Associate – Temporary On-Call

Location: Burlington, ON – Guelph Line & North Service Road area

Pay Rate: $17.60/hour

Pay Schedule: Weekly – every Friday

Employment Type: Temporary / On-Call

Typical Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM, and possibly weekend shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Hours: Shifts may occasionally extend into the evening depending on operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading merchandise

- Order picking and preparing orders

- Shipping and receiving

- Material handling

- Moving and organizing merchandise within the warehouse

- General warehouse duties

- Repetitive heavy lifting

- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

- Other warehouse duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements





- Must be physically strong and capable of repetitive heavy lifting

- Must have CSA-approved safety boots with the green triangle

- Reliable, punctual and dependable

- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced warehouse environment

- Able to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures

- Must be able to reliably commute to the Guelph Line & North Service Road area in Burlington

- Must be available for an 8:00 AM start

- Flexible availability is preferred, as this is an on-call requirement

- Previous general labour, warehouse, loading/unloading, order picking, shipping/receiving or material-handling experience is an asset
