Your New EmployerOur client is a private equity real estate investment firm based in Toronto, focused on development and value-add opportunities across North America. With a strong track record and an established investor base, the firm is now launching a new U.S. multifamily income-and-growth fund.Your New RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst will support the finance and accounting functions of the firm’s U.S. multifamily fund. This role focuses on fund‑level reporting, consolidation, and operational support across a multi‑entity structure. The successful candidate will be involved in the monthly close process, including managing intercompany balances, supporting consolidations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. The role will also include supporting the onboarding of new acquisitions, assisting with opening entries, and integrating new assets into the fund structure.In addition, the position will involve working with third‑party property managers, reviewing financial reporting, and supporting fund distributions and cash movement processes. The role will also contribute to audit processes, including preparing working papers and coordinating with external stakeholders.This is a highly hands‑on role within a lean team, offering strong learning opportunities and exposure to private equity real estate.What Sets You ApartThe ideal candidate will bring 2–4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or fund accounting, along with a CPA designation (or near completion). Candidates coming from public accounting, particularly those looking to transition into industry,



will be strong fits for this role.You will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, with experience supporting month‑end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Exposure to consolidations and multi‑entity structures is considered an asset.You are detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
