Darling is committed to environmental sustainability, superior quality and excellent customer service.We are currently looking for a licensed Electrician for our Dundas facility.RESPONSIBILITIESInstallation of electrical/electronic equipmentInstall, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and electronic controls on various types of equipmentRead and interpret drawings, blueprints and electrical code specificationsInstall, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, case assemblies and other electrical componentsAbility to work on 110 V up to and including 600 V systems and equipmentStrong knowledge in PLC5, RSLogic, RSView, Allen Bradley controls, FactoryTalk, DeviceNet & Ethernet with a strong background in installations and troubleshooting (an asset)Background knowledge in frequency drives especially PowerflexesWork independently when required, and as part of a team when appropriateTroubleshoot and solve a variety of problems during the shiftPerform preventative maintenancePromote and comply with Health and Safety regulationsOther duties as assigned – indoor and outdoorREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSCertified Electrician ticket required. Trade certificate – 442A or 309AProven track record in troubleshooting,
