This is a full time permanent hourly position based out of Wild Timber’s head office in Prince George, B.C and will report to the Operations Manager.

The successful candidate shall have the following qualifications:

- Minimum 5-10 years of heavy-duty mechanic experience on large trucks and logging equipment
- Clean Class 5 Driver’s License required is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects.
- Strong learning agility and a willingness to continually work with a host of individuals that require either mechanical or electrical repairs in a timely manner.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess a “company-first” mentality and dedication to Wild Timber.
- Ability to work both independently with little or no supervision and as a team player.
- Experience building and enhancing working relationships with co-workers.
- Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrate creativity and produce outstanding work

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Develop and monitor maintenance records for trucks and trailers.
- Handle day-to-day service and maintenance operations of our fleet of equipment.
- Keep detailed notes on maintenance and repairs of trucks and trailers.




- Coordinate with logging boss/truck boss for parts required.
- Work to maintain the trucks/trailers (light repairs/Electrical).
- Ability to road test vehicles
- Work closely with the Truck Boss to ensure compliance with CVSE records and any possible orders.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to work with cross functional teams.
- Adheres to Wild Timber Safety Policies and OSH Regulations at Federal and Provincial jurisdictions including the use of PPE and other safety equipment.
- Reports unsafe conditions, all incidents, injuries and near misses.
