Be part of Yorkton Community Services as an Advanced Practice Nurse. This full time position focuses on diagnosing, prescribing, and providing holistic care in a primary health care context.
In this Nurse Practitioner role, you will utilize evidence-based practices and advanced clinical skills to manage both acute and chronic conditions. You will engage actively with the community, conducting needs assessments and fostering inter-professional collaboration. This full-time role involves a structured shift pattern of 11 shifts within three weeks, allowing for balanced work-life integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed clinical assessments of patients • Prescribe necessary medications and diagnostic procedures • Develop partnerships with communities for health enhancement • Support continuous health improvement initiatives • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
Requirements: • Minimum one year in a community health role • Three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required • Valid Class 5 driver’s license needed • Valid registration with CRNS
