Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in subjects such as English, Math, French, Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Coding, Spanish, or other areas of expertise
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and collaboration among students
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects; provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Utilize technology tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to enhance instructional materials and student engagement
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or working with individuals with disabilities
- Maintain organized records of attendance, grades, and student performance data in compliance with school policies




- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral concerns

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area; teaching certification preferred
- Classroom experience working with high school students in an educational setting
- Bilingual abilities in English and French or Spanish are highly desirable; strong communication skills in both languages are essential
- Proven tutoring experience across multiple subjects such as Math, English, or foreign languages
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel for lesson planning and reporting purposes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during lessons and administrative tasks
- Experience working with children or adolescents with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Solid leadership qualities coupled with effective writing skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
