Originally Mum is the Garden, founded by Ivy and now operated by Corey, Good Nature was built with intention, creativity, and a deep respect for our clients, their gardens, and the land they are on. Many of the gardens we care for today are legacy gardens, spaces Ivy designed and nurtured over many years, now entrusted to us to care for with the same level of attention and respect.

About the Job

We are looking for a Horticulture Assistant to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season, with the potential to continue into the 2027 season.

This is a hands on outdoor position working alongside our garden maintenance crew. We are looking for someone who is reliable, physically fit, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work and loves to laugh.

You do not need to be a horticulture expert. A basic understanding of landscaping and garden maintenance is important, but we are happy to teach the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing

Garden and estate maintenance including weeding, pruning, planting, mulching, seasonal clean ups, and general care of trees, shrubs, and perennial beds. You’ll also use hand and power tools, assist with irrigation, move materials, maintain clean work areas, and occasionally take part in forestry and waterway projects.

This is an active,



physical outdoor job.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

Has some basic landscaping or garden maintenance experience and is reliable, physically fit, and comfortable with heavy lifting and outdoor work. You should be able to follow instructions, work well with a crew, work independently when needed, and take pride in doing things properly.

A good attitude, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety are important.

A Class 5 driver’s licence is an asset but not required.
