Morris East Bedford is hiring an enthusiastic and reliable Host to join our team immediately!
We are looking for someone who has a a positive personality, and has a genuine passion for great food and wine.
Morris East is a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant known for our welcoming service, high-quality food, and carefully curated wine and cocktail programs. Our reputation is built on superior service and consistency, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of that.
Initial Responsibilities Include
- Greeting and seating guests in a warm and professional manner
- Taking takeout orders by phone, through our online ordering system, and in person
- Resetting tables quickly, efficiently, and to our standards
- Assisting with running food and supporting the service team
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house environment
- Providing excellent customer service to every guest
- Working efficiently and calmly in a busy, fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A sense of urgency and the ability to move quickly when the restaurant is busy
- Someone who takes pride in cleanliness and presentation
- The ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- A passion for food, wine, and hospitality
- Reliability and a solid work ethic
- Previous restaurant experience is considered an asset
Preferred Availability: Weekdays: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Some evening availability may be required occasionally, but evenings will be rare.
