R esponsibilities (Not limited to : )

- Strategic HR leadership — Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, culture, and complex employee matters.
- Team development — Lead, coach, and develop the HR & Safety team while ensuring effective delivery of all HR and safety programs.
- Employee relations — Oversee employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, terminations, restructuring, and employment‑related risk.
- Talent & engagement — Manage recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Total rewards & compliance — Oversee compensation, benefits, HR systems, payroll processes, and ensure compliance with employment, human rights, accessibility, and workplace legislation.
- Health & safety leadership — Provide strategic oversight of occupational health & safety programs, including training, inspections, WSIB, RTW, incident investigations,



and continuous improvement of safety performance.

Requirements:

- 15+ years HR leadership plus OHS experience; JHSC participation an asset.
- Post‑secondary HR education with CHRP/CHRL designation; bilingualism an asset.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach leaders, and manage complex workplace matters.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, HR systems, and OHS.
- Strategic thinker with sound judgment and professionalism in confidential situations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict‑resolution, and change‑management abilities.
