The Forklift Operator is responsible for operation of powered industrial forklifts to load and unload parts, materials and deliveries. The Operator also moves trailers and/or items to and from different departments and plants as well as storage areas and warehouses. Full time +2 Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading parts, materials and/or moving trailers as required Ensuring loads are secure Perform daily inspection of forklift Follow and comply with company safety policies & procedures Physical Demands and Abilities Wear required PPE for job such as hi-vis apparel, safety glasses, safety footwear and hearing protection Regularly lift and/or move 25-50 pounds Consistently perform repetitive tasks, in a fast paced, physically demanding environment Frequently bend, kneel, stoop,



reach, climb, and twist as required Core Competencies & Personal Attributes Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset Good spatial awareness with the ability to accurately assess load weights and judge distances & heights Strong ability to complete work accurately, efficiently and thoroughly while meeting production standards Detailed-oriented with a high motivation and initiative We appreciate all applications, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
