We're looking for Surfacing and Texture Artists at both Mid and Senior levels to join our team at Stellar Creative Lab. You will be responsible for crafting the intricate textures that define the look of our characters and environments. Your understanding of material properties and a strong artistic eye will be crucial in achieving an impactful painterly style.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality textures for sets, props, and characters
• Use brush techniques to achieve artistically styled visuals
• Analyze and interpret various surface references




• Modify shader setups for rendering efficiency
• Collaborate closely with other departments and mentor juniors
Requirements:
• Mid-level: 3–5+ years; Senior: 5+
• Experienced with Mari, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
• Background in traditional painting and color theory
• Bachelor's in 3D animation or equivalent
• Legally eligible to work in British Columbia
