Ernst & Company CPA Qualified Corporation is a mid-sized public accounting firm in Ottawa. We are seeking a bookkeeper to work at our office in the east end of Ottawa with various of our clients. This full-time position would work with our clients to perform full cycle accounting duties and provide support, as required. We offer an ongoing training and a group benefit package, in a supportive working environment. Duties/Responsibilities:

Full cycle bookkeeping from receipt and processing of source documents to year-end closing procedures Payroll processing and related reporting, as required Preparation of government returns, GST/HST, NR4, T4, T5, ROE, WSIB Accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliation procedures Qualifications:





College Diploma in Bookkeeping or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in full cycle bookkeeping in Canada Experience with use of QuickBooks Online is essential Working knowledge of legacy accounting software, such as Sage 50 / QuickBooks Desktop would be an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook Candidates should possess the following:

Desire to develop and maintain accurate financial records Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently Ability to work independently or with limited supervision to meet deadlines Works well in a team environment
