Shape young skaters' futures as an instructor or assistant in our Learn to Skate and Learn Hockey programs for ages 3-12. This is a part-time contract position at local arenas. Instructors must be over 18 and possess relevant coaching or skating experience. Assisting roles welcome applicants with limited experience, including teenagers seeking job exposure. A clean Criminal Record Check is mandatory, funded by the West Zone Board post-hiring. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach skating skills to children aged 3-12
- Assist with organizing and instructing group classes
- Promote secure skating practices during sessions
- Prepare equipment and materials for classes
- Commit to Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon schedules Requirements:
- Candidates must be at least 18 for instructor roles
- Background in hockey or ice skating is advantageous
- Limited experience acceptable for assistant applicants
- Clean Criminal Record Check required
