The Community Support Worker (CSW) assists adults with developmental disabilities to develop essential life skills. You will help clients achieve their personal goals in supportive environments and take part in crafting individualized service plans. This permanent full-time position involves direct interaction with participants in both onsite and community settings, requiring a commitment to fostering inclusivity and connection.
Key Responsibilities: • Create a welcoming,
inclusive program atmosphere • Support clients with daily living activities • Implement and monitor personalized goal plans • Lead tailored, engaging activities for diverse abilities • Provide outreach services through community events
Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Social Services or related field • 1-2 years experience with developmental disabilities • Ability to lift up to 40lbs for client support • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and vehicle access • Certification in First Aid/CPR and Crisis Intervention
