- The candidate will be responsible for leaning on RBC Dominion Securities’ strong brand and reputation to build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners and manage their complex financial needs.
- The candidate will be required to use RBCs extensive investment and wealth management resources to develop customized portfolios and wealth plans.
- The candidate will be responsible for fostering trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships using personalized service and advice.
- The candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining reciprocal relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to ensure clients are supported in all aspects of their financial lives.
- The candidate must have strong people and problem-solving skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- The candidate will be responsible for taking initiative and managing their own workday.
- The candidate will be required to focus on meaningful work that helps clients achieve their life goals through good financial guidance.
Job Requirements
- The candidate will be required to have 4–6 years of outbound sales experience and be comfortable working on a 100% commission basis.
- The candidate must have completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE), or be able to complete them prior to the start date.
- The candidate will be required to have a strong passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management.
- The candidate must have a background in direct marketing within financial services and show success in high value sales and business growth, regardless of discipline.
- The candidate should have strong relationship building skills and be able to connect with all types of individuals.
- The candidate must hold recognized certifications in Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
