Skyline Recruitment is working with a well-established employee‑owned multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join their growing Vancouver team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to lead impactful water resources projects while working alongside respected industry leaders across Canada and North America.The successful candidate will play a key role in technical project delivery, client relationship management, business development, and mentoring junior staff within a highly collaborative consulting setting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, modelling, and design projectsDesign hydraulic structures, water conveyance systems, and storage infrastructurePrepare and review technical reports, specifications, drawings, and engineering deliverablesManage projects from proposal stage through design and project completionCoordinate multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with internal technical specialistsSupport budgeting, scheduling, and overall project management responsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiativesPrepare proposals, presentations,
and support project pursuitsMentor and support junior engineering staff and contribute to team growthConduct occasional site visits and field reviews as requiredQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources (Master’s degree considered an asset)P.Eng. designation in British Columbia, or eligibility to obtain8+ years of relevant water resources engineering experienceStrong consulting and project management experienceProficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and designExperience with industry-standard water resources software and engineering toolsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsExcellent communication and technical writing abilitiesExperience managing multidisciplinary engineering projectsProgramming or scripting experience considered an assetValid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites when requiredWhat’s OfferedCompetitive compensation package ranging from $120,000–$160,000Hybrid work flexibilityComprehensive benefits package and strong pension programOpportunity to work on complex and high‑profile water resources projects across North AmericaCollaborative and employee‑focused workplace cultureLong‑term career growth, leadership, and business development opportunitiesOngoing professional development and mentorship support#J-18808-Ljbffr
