The John Howard Society of Saskatchewan is seeking a Caseworker for its Extrajudicial Sanctions and Alternative Measures program. Focus on mediation and support in a dynamic workplace.

As a Caseworker, you will provide services that emphasize restorative justice, assist clients through the criminal justice system, and maintain relationships with stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating mediations, completing necessary documentation, and assisting clients in accessing support services. This role plays a crucial part in facilitating community education and crime prevention.

Key Responsibilities:



• Facilitate mediations and restorative justice sessions • Complete all required documentation and reporting • Build strong networks with community services • Maintain confidentiality throughout all processes • Educate the community on restorative practices

Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of relevant practical experience • Understanding of disadvantaged populations and restorative practices • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and office tasks
