As a PEM Attending, you will have primary responsibility for all patients in the Emergency Department. Your role involves direct clinical oversight, teaching, and a commitment to high-quality pediatric care. Collaborate with a dedicated team while enhancing your clinical skills in a vibrant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead trauma and medical teams during resuscitations
• Teach residents and students rotating through CHED
• Support pediatricians caring for lower acuity patients
• Participate in the Section of PEM’s off-shift roles
• Engage with CHED Patient and Family Advisory Council
Requirements:
• Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (RCPSC)
• Experience in Emergency Medicine may be considered
• Current BLS and PALS certification
• Eligibility for registration with College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba
• Extensive experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine if not formally certified
