Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment in industrial settings.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks with precision.
- Work on renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical systems or installing new infrastructure.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques; repair or replace faulty components promptly.
- Install low voltage systems such as alarms, data cabling, or communication networks.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs)



to automate machinery and processes.
- Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for each project.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a licensed Journeyman/Woman Electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems including alarms, data cabling, and communication networks.
- Experience working on renovation projects as well as recent construction environments.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in industrial settings.
- Additional handyman skills or construction experience are a plus for versatile project support.
