Junior Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic Wanted

Team Charter Services is looking for a Junior Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Kelowna, BC.

Experience working on Prevost coaches, highway buses, or other commercial buses is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Most of the work will consist of lighter-duty driveline and mechanical work, including:

- Brakes
- Driveshafts
- Air systems
- General mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics

The position may also extend to larger projects as required, including differential changes and transmission and engine removal and replacement. We’re looking for someone mechanically inclined, reliable, and interested in developing their heavy-duty mechanical skills.

Qualifications:

- Some heavy-duty mechanical experience preferred
- Bus or Prevost experience is an asset
- Valuable mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable and safety-conscious
- Willingness to learn — training provided
