We are hiring a strong Junior to Intermediate Software Developer to join our team!

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for a strong junior or intermediate developer who wants more than a ticket queue and wants to get in early and grow with the company.

You'll work directly with one of our two domain owners as your mentor, and you'll own real projects end to end: scoping, building, shipping, and supporting what you built in production. You'll make design decisions inside your domain, ship features customers asked for, and fix the bugs that matter.

We're a small team, so everyone wears a few hats, and there's room to grow in whichever direction you enjoy most. You'll be working out of one of the nicest office spaces in Winnipeg's Exchange District with a team that cares about getting it right and has your back when it's hard.

Our Tech:

Our platform is a multi-domain system covering commerce, ticketing, customers, engagement, billing, and more, with a core library, an API server, and separate web apps for hosts and for their guests.





We work from written specs, so you always know what you're building and why, and we use AI coding tools as a normal part of how we ship.

The frontend is Vue, TypeScript, Astro JS. The backend runs on TypeScript, Firebase, MongoDB, Coolify, and server-less functions on Netlify. Payments run through Stripe.

You will be a great fit if you have strong skills in these areas:

- TypeScript and JavaScript
- Vue (or React or Svelte, and ready to learn Vue)
- REST APIs and backend development
- Firebase and MongoDB
- Git and GitHub

You don't need to know all of these, but what you don't know, be ready to learn quickly.

Requirements:

- 1 to 3 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent project work you can show us
- Experience working with Git and GitHub in a team: branches, pull requests, code review
- Technical experience working on a team, not only solo projects
- Able to break work into pieces, estimate honestly, and communicate when the estimate changes
- Delivers on time and takes ownership of what you ship, including bugs and small customer feature requests
- Asks questions early instead of guessing for a week
- Hardworking and a fast learner
- Loves startups and wants their work to have an impact
- Located in Winnipeg or willing to relocate

Nice to Haves:

- Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding tools
- Experience shipping features that used an LLM or MCP integration




- Experience with payments, ticketing, certificates, or event-related/CRM software
- Experience with server-less platforms like Netlify
- Experience writing automated tests and familiarity with CI/CD processes
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

Job Details:

- Job type: Full-time, permanent
- Pay: $60,000 to $75,000 base + stock options. Full breakdown during the interview process.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, flex-time
- Location: Winnipeg, Exchange District. In office with hybrid flexibility - can reliably commute to the office (required)
