THE OPPORTUNITY:

Abcor Filters is looking for a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support our production, maintenance, and quality teams. You'll manage technical documentation, administer our maintenance management software (eMaint), keep facility and process layouts current, and support day-to-day quality activities on the floor. We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in how documentation, systems, and quality processes keep a manufacturing operation running smoothly.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Manufacturing and documentation

· Organize, update, and file technical documents and work instructions

· Update facility and process layout drawings as equipment and processes change

· Maintain document version control so teams always have the current revision

· Administer eMaint, including asset records, preventive maintenance schedules, and work order data

· Support data entry and record-keeping across departments

· Prepare and organize documentation packages for handover between teams

Quality

· Support in-process and final inspections, and record results accurately

· Help document non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, fishbone)

· Maintain quality records, control plans, and inspection instructions in line with our quality management system [ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, confirm which applies]

· Assist with internal audits and with preparation for customer and third-party audits

· Track and report quality metrics such as scrap, rework, and customer complaints





· Support calibration tracking for gauges and measuring equipment

· Participate in continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction)

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Minimum Qualifications:

· Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline

· 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (internship or placement experience counts)

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Proficiency in Excel and comfort learning new software

· Good written and verbal communication skills
