As part of our Field Construction Management (FCM) team, you will drive the success of our outside plant infrastructure through expert contractor management and strategic oversight.This role is built for a multitasker: you will oversee the scheduling of planned capital construction while simultaneously refining processes to outsource and scale our assurance response. We need a partner who can manage vendor relationships with precision, use data to improve cost-effectiveness, and implement robust strategies that ensure our network remains world-class.What you’ll doOversee partner builds, evaluate installation quality, and enforce network standards while removing roadblocksCollaborate with stakeholders such as Project Management, Engineering and various support teamsShowcase strong vendor management experience, including performance evaluation and relationship buildingDemonstrate strong problem-solving skills, presenting complex information clearly and collaborating proactivelyDevelop and workshop best-in-class processes, tools, and systems, including vendor scorecards and KPI reportingExhibit a bias for action, proactively leading multiple initiatives and ensuring projects stay on trackThis role may include some travel within the province (BC)



but be mostly focused on the Lower MainlandQualificationsWhat you bring3+ years’ hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting telecom equipment such as Outside Plant infrastructure, Inside Plant Wireline or Wireless telecom equipmentUnderstanding of telecommunications standards for physical infrastructure installations (TOPPS)Excels in managing multiple projects and deliverables end to end with easeAbility to work independently, innovate and identify solutions to complex issuesAbility to analyze data, in order to prioritize and develop transformational programs and influence results / KPI performanceExcels in navigating and thriving within ambiguous environments, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in problem-solving and decision-makingExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsGreat-to-havesAbility to read civil, construction and electrical drawings would be an assetKnowledge of business intelligence software such as Google Looker Studio, or Tableau would be an assetKnowledge of TELUS specific applications (SRM, JIRA, SAP, Netcracker, Circuit Vision) would be an assetTelecom Diploma or a Degree in Business Management would be an assetLocation: BC - Lower MainlandSalary Range: $70,000-$120,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:
