NL Health Services – Eastern Urban Zone is looking for a qualified physician to join its neurology team at Health Sciences Centre. The role involves providing comprehensive medical management for neurological patients, conducting daily rounds, coordinating care, and engaging with family members for optimal outcomes. Close collaboration with specialists will be key to delivering high-quality multidisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care within the Neurology Program
• Conduct daily ward rounds and participate in family meetings




• Review patients in collaboration with neurologists
• Provide onsite call coverage as needed
• Enhance team dynamics with the interdisciplinary staff
Requirements:
• Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of residency in General Internal Medicine
• Licensure eligibility with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland
• Certification in Internal Medicine or equivalent
• Solid interest in neurology is preferred
