- This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton. Reporting to the Nursing Simulation Centre (NSC) Operations Lead and working closely with the NSC Executive Director, this Recurring Auxiliary position plays an significant role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Simulation Centre (NSC) and delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences. This position is inactive during July and August. The successful candidate will support lab setups, inventory ordering, and clinical laboratory equipment maintenance,
while also assisting with administrative duties and the delivery of simulated learning experiences, including iVR, vSim, standardized patient simulations, and other simulation activities. This position provides frontline support to students and faculty by responding to inquiries related to NSC services, resources, and simulated learning. The incumbent also acts as a liaison with internal and external contacts and coordinates audio-visual support for lab teaching. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, adaptable, and service-oriented, with an interest in supporting innovative approaches to nursing education. The position requires flexibility to work the full range of lab teaching hours as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends.
