Job Description Safely transport students on a daily basis and deliver excellent customer service. Floater Drivers are expected to work any route and operate any equipment for Complex Learning Needs (CLN) or School Bus. Complete mandatory wheelchair training. Perform non-driving duties as assigned during scheduled hours. Drive safely and responsibly; be prepared for all road and weather conditions.



Verify with dispatch which schools are on PRO. Maintain up‑to‑date route information and radio contact using proper protocol. Be prepared at the designated banking location assigned by dispatch; communicate upon arrival. Manage passenger behavior, solving problems quickly and effectively. Submit bus misconduct reports to the school when needed. May be laid off during July, August, Spring Break, Christmas Break, and any other school holiday over 5 days.
