This team offers pre-operative consultations, anesthesia for cardiac surgeries, and post-operative management in the specialized Cardiac Surgery ICU. With an annual volume of 600 cardiac cases, you will also work alongside a mix of general anesthesia cases for optimal patient support. A cooperative spirit is key as you engage in high-acuity procedures in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia during cardiac surgeries




- Conduct pre-operative consultations and post-operative care
- Support growing TAVI program with 150 cases per year
- Engage in teaching medical students and residents
- Participate in acute pain management across specialties Requirements:
- 12-month fellowship in cardiac anesthesia
- TEE certification from the National Board of Echocardiography
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada
- Able to handle diverse surgical call requirements
