Become an integral part of the Ktunaxa Nation Council as an Executive Assistant in Cranbrook, BC. Provide essential administrative support to the Traditional Knowledge and Language sector Director while engaging with communities.
This full time permanent role focuses on administrative, clerical, and operational tasks that support the goals of the TKL sector. You'll coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and handle correspondence while ensuring effective information flow among stakeholders. Your expertise will significantly enhance the efficiency of community engagement and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain calendars for the Director • Arrange travel and accommodations for the Director • Coordinate Elders meetings and engagement events • Take, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes • Monitor action items and ensure task completion
Requirements: • 5-8 years of office and administrative experience • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Skilled in event planning and project management • Knowledge of Ktunaxa rights, culture, and history
