Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager Location: Vancouver, BC (Onsite)

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

This is a leadership role for an experienced accounting skilled who excels in operational oversight, offshore team management, and systems improvement. You’ll oversee multiple team leads in India, manage complex F&B; client portfolios, and drive continuous improvement across processes and systems.

If you’re a strong leader with a public practice foundation and an operational mindset, this role offers significant influence and direct collaboration with the firm’s owners.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading and mentoring 5-7 offshore team leads, ensuring high-quality deliverables and workflow efficiency
- Overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, and review of junior team work
- Managing client relationships across both Canada, and internationally
- Driving operational improvements, SOP development, and systems optimization
- Leading accounting system enhancements and implementations
- Supporting strategic initiatives and collaborating directly with the owners
- Ensuring accuracy,



structure, and consistency across a high-volume F&B; client base
- Bringing a strong, authoritative leadership style to guide offshore and local teams

Qualifications

- CPA designation
- Strong public practice background (required)
- Experience managing offshore teams (India or similar)
- Strong bookkeeping fundamentals to support review responsibilities
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced accounting environment
- Strong Excel abilities and comfort with AI-driven tools
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and operationally minded
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead with confidence
- Flexibility for occasional early morning or late evening calls
