Your Role

Reporting to senior management, you will serve as a strategic advisor to internal business teams and play an active role in legal matters related to the management and growth of the organization's real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted legal partner to business teams and senior leadership.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial and real estate agreements.
- Support real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities.
- Provide strategic advice on contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Manage certain litigation files and collaborate with external legal counsel.
- Conduct legal research and monitor legislative and regulatory developments.
- Assist with corporate governance matters and the maintenance of legal documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal department processes, tools, and templates.

Qualifications





- Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar.
- Relevant experience in real estate and commercial law.
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and files in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong business acumen and sound judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across various stakeholder groups.
