Job Description We are seeking an experienced

Consultant Paediatrician

to provide high-quality specialist care to

infants, children and adolescents

in a predominantly outpatient setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paediatrician looking to develop a busy community-based specialist practice with

exceptional earning potential , while working alongside Family Physicians, specialists and allied healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of paediatric presentations

Provide specialist consultations for infants, children and adolescents

Manage acute, chronic and complex paediatric conditions

Assess developmental, behavioural and growth concerns

Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations

Coordinate referrals and ongoing care with Family Physicians and other specialists

Provide preventative healthcare and guidance to children and their families





Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Qualifications

Medical Degree with recognised postgraduate training in

Paediatrics

Specialist certification in Paediatrics from the

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)

or equivalent international specialist qualification

Internationally trained Paediatricians with recognised UK, US, Australian or equivalent specialist training are encouraged to apply, subject to Ontario licensing eligibility

Eligible for independent practice with the

College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, child- and family-centred approach
