About the Opportunity

- With this flexible position, you will travel between our facilities in HRM, working in an industry that is focused on taking care of others. Our diverse assignments will help develop your career with each new experience.

- Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting, and directing resident needs through consultation with medical professionals & internal staff.
- Administering and recording prescribed medication as per company policy and scope of practice.
- Maintaining the standards of accurate and complete documentation and reporting.
- Applies dressings and treatments according to physician’s orders and policy.
- Completing catheter & ostomy care.

About You In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

- Current registration with the provincial Nova Scotia College of Nursing
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification
- Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector screening
- A positive, energetic,



fun-loving personality who enjoys working with the senior population
- Compassion by showing empathy, you respect the privacy of others, and you take action when necessary.
- Commitment to great service, a great work setting, with great people.
- Knowledge related to basic wound care and care planning interventions for wound prevention and wound healing.
- Any previous experience with Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care to be a bonus
