Become a vital part of CLIC’s Life Claims team as a Life Claims Examiner I in a hybrid work model. This role focuses on verifying and analyzing complex claims documentation for Individual and Group Life products.

The Life Claims

Examiner I facilitates accurate claim processing in accordance with policies and regulations. With 1-2 years of relevant experience required, candidates should possess medical terminology knowledge or related education.

Responsibilities include investigating claims, managing inquiries, and collaborating with multiple departments for streamlined processes. Key Responsibilities:

- Verify and analyze claims documentation for accuracy
- Manage investigations involving claims stakeholders




- Provide final claim decisions and prepare detailed correspondence
- Investigate fraudulent claims and assess course of action
- Educate field partners on insurance legislation Requirements:
- 1-2 years relevant experience in life claims field
- Medical terminology knowledge or related education
- Completed LOMA courses preferred
- Bilingual in English and French an asset
