Machine Repair Technician Class 2 Position type: Full time, Hourly

Pay Range: $44.14 per hour

You’ll install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of production and material‑handling machinery, supporting both preventive and corrective maintenance across the plant. Then join us in Niagara Falls, Ontario!

What You’ll Do Machine Repair Technician Class 2 is responsible for repairing, adjusting, servicing, overhauling, and installing plant machinery and equipment. You will install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems across the facility. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and material-handling equipment

Conduct regular equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications

Perform alignment, leveling, rigging, and equipment installation as required

Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical components

Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and other maintenance equipment

Support equipment shutdowns, overhauls, and planned maintenance activities

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all site-specific safety protocols

Rotate weekly after-hours on-call and carry a pager What You’ll Need To be successful in this position, you must: Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate

Have 3+ years of manufacturing or heavy industrial experience

Supply your own tools

Carry out work independently and work well in a team environment

Willingness to learn and develop new skills with welding
