A Little About Our Education & Training Division

Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education offers a twelve (12) month, four-semester intensive diploma program in Early Childhood Education.

The Mothercraft

Diploma in Early Childhood Education is approved by the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) and is a Registered Career College with the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security (MCURES). Mothercraft also offers professional training for individuals and groups working in the early learning and early years sectors as well as training programs related to Home Based Child Care and Professional Development.

As the Manager, Admissions and Registration, you will play a crucial role supporting Mothercraft College of Early Childhood Education. As a Manager, Admissions and Registration, you will…

- Report to the Director of Education & Training and manage all program admissions, financial aid, front office administration, regulatory audit and inspection, and day to day logistics associated with Mothercraft’s ECE Diploma and community training programs in keeping with the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization
- Establish and maintain operational policies as per regulatory compliance with MCURES




- Lead preparation and planning for each new academic year including managing student recruitment and candidate screening during intake periods
- Manage student financial, third party funded programs and oversee compliance audits
- Liaise with funders (Ontario Student Assistance Program, Early Childhood Educators Qualifications Upgrade and Leadership programs, Better Jobs Ontario) to collect tuition and prepare invoicing
- Liaise with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Oversee all program admissions, enrollment records and student documentation requirements
- Coordinate all administrative support functions, presentations and logistics associated with the academic and training programs including Graduation Planning, records management, certificate and transcript issuance, and graduate registration with the CECE
- Lead and participate in all marketing and promotional events (Career Fair, Open House, Advertising Campaigns)
- Work collaboratively with senior staff, Human Resources, IT and Finance to support the improvement of administrative systems
- Manage reception, administrative staff, student services, opening and closing responsibilities and maintain campus/facility operations to ensure optimal adult learning environment

You will be set up for success if you have...
- Bachelor’s degree in administration and/or related field (ECE Diploma, children and adult education), working towards a Master’s Degree preferred
- Registration and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Three to five years of experience in a management role at an educational institution, including experience in the child care field
- Direct experience in a community or career college
- Experience in student services, educational administration or a related area
- Proven record of successful supervisory experience in a fast-paced people-oriented environment
- Understanding of the application of technology to store and deliver Records and Registration services
