Position TitleAssociate Director, Operations, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (FLAS)Status: FT Admin Temp ContractHours: 37.5 hours per weekFaculty/Department: Faculty of Liberal Arts and SciencesCampus/Location: North and Lakeshore – hybrid; minimum four dayson campus per week.Minimum Starting Salary: $105,342 (based on qualifications and experience)Duration of Need: August 2026 to October 2027About the Associate Director, Operations (FLAS) RoleThe Associate Director, Operations manages strategic implementation and oversight of faculty operations, including financial management, operational planning, human resources, procurement, inventory, logistics, health and safety, and customer service. The role works under the Senior Dean and seeks to deliver efficient, fiscally sound, and risk‑mitigated outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and improve operational processes aligned with the faculty’s strategic plans, developing process flows for efficiency.Develop and manage the faculty business plan, capital development needs, and renewal of capital assets.Prepare budget forecasts, manage operations budget, and conduct cost analysis related to programming.Monitor day‑to‑day operations, ensuring adherence to procedures, safety protocols, and financial targets.Oversee staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.Manage vendor contracts, inventory, supply chain, and facility operations,
