We are currently seeking a Senior Manager – Financial Planning and Analysis to lead our financial planning and commercial business partnering activities. Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A; and Business Partnering, the incumbent leads a team of analysts and turns financial and commercial data into analysis, recommendations and decisions that improve the company's profitability.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the budgeting, financial forecasting and long-term planning processes, and bring discipline to their monthly phasing: reliable numbers, defensible assumptions and explained variances;
- Lead, develop and engage the FP&A; analyst team, raising the standard of analysis and the team's presence with the business;
- Act as a business partner to Sales and Business Development: assess the profitability of customers, products, markets and projects, and challenge the assumptions behind commercial decisions;
- Protect margin: analyze margins by product, customer, market and project, flag drift early and propose corrective action plans;
- Oversee comparative analyses of selling prices, recommend pricing strategies tailored to different markets, and ensure quotes comply with price lists and discount controls;
- Prepare, analyze and present financial dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and monthly results for senior management;




- Analyze changes in market share, industry trends and competitive positioning to support strategic decisions;
- Build the scenarios, financial analyses and business cases that support investment, contract and growth decisions;
- Coordinate with the operations finance partner to measure the impact of manufacturing costs on commercial margins;
- Ensure the integrity of financial and pricing data in the SAP system;
- Identify, recommend and implement improvements to processes, financial tools and analytical models, and contribute to financial systems improvement projects;
- Present financial analyses and recommendations to senior management and support decision-making processes.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration,



or a related field;
- 7 to 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), finance, or a similar role;
- 2+ years of experience supervising analysts or professionals;
- CPA designation, a significant asset;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, a significant asset;
- Experience in commercial finance or partnering with sales teams, a significant asset;
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, and of analytics tools (Power BI, SAC);
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, management accounting, and performance metrics;
- Solid skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and financial forecasting;
- Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written), to support our Canadian and U.S. markets.
